Accessibility statement

What we aim for

We build this site to the Israeli standard IS 5568 at level AA, the standard named by regulation 35א(א) of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013. We also follow WCAG 2.1 AA, which is the later international revision of the same guidelines. In practice that covers colour contrast, keyboard operation, form labelling, focus visibility and respect for reduced-motion settings.

What the site offers

• A skip link to jump past navigation, as the first item on every page.
• An accessibility panel, reachable from the button in the lower corner of every page: text size up to 150%, a high-contrast mode, underlined links, and a switch that stops animation.
• Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus ring on every control.
• Animation that switches itself off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

The audiobook itself is audio. Where a story has been delivered, the player page offers a transcript so the content is available in text.

The narration uses a synthetic voice, and pronunciation of names can differ slightly from how you say them. The story-building steps let you hear a name first and add a pronunciation hint.

This site has not had an external accessibility audit. No accessibility coordinator is appointed: that duty applies to organisations with 25 or more employees, and this one is smaller. Accessibility requests reach the person who runs the site directly.

Accessibility requests and problem reports go to the person who runs this site, at customerrelations@audioventure.cc. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will reply.

If something on the site is not accessible, you can send us a notice asking us to correct it. We will fix it within a reasonable time and no later than 60 days from receiving the notice, and in the meantime we will offer another way to get the same service.
