Getting started
What exactly is an AudioVenture?
An AudioVenture is a 7–10 minute personalized audiobook for each day of your family trip. Each one is set in the city you’re visiting, features your kids’ real names as characters, and follows a recurring sidekick across every day of the trip.
Do I need an account?
No. You enter your trip details and pay — that’s it. We email you a private link to stream or download. No account, no app, no password to remember.
Can I try before I pay?
Yes. After you enter your trip and family, you’ll see the full story outline — the arc title plus an outline for each day — before you pay. Swap any guest character you don’t love. You only pay once you’re happy with the preview.
The audiobooks
How long is each episode?
Episodes run 7–10 minutes — long enough to carry the day’s adventure, short enough to finish on a car ride or at bedtime.
How are my kids’ names included?
We weave your kids’ real names into the script as characters in the story — not just a name drop at the intro. Got an unusual spelling? Add a pronunciation hint and the narrator will say it right.
What vibes are available?
Funny, spooky, detective, magical, or bedtime. Same locations and characters — totally different energy. Pick one vibe for the whole trip.
Who are the characters?
Every trip has a recurring sidekick — a companion your kids will grow attached to across all the days. Each day also brings a new guest character tied to that city or activity. You preview both before paying, and you can swap any guest character you don’t love.
What if my itinerary changes after I order?
We start writing the moment you check out, so we can’t regenerate for itinerary changes. If something major shifts, update your days in the wizard before you pay.
Ordering and delivery
How long does it take?
Usually about five minutes after checkout. We email you the moment every episode is ready. If something hiccups on our end, we automatically retry — and you can always reach us at hello@audioventure.cc.
How much does it cost?
$19 for a full trip — up to 10 days. One audiobook per day, plus a cartoon illustration of your trip. No subscriptions, no per-episode fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card or PayPal, via Stripe Checkout.
Can I listen on any device?
Yes. Your private link works in any modern browser — phone, tablet, laptop. You can also download the MP3 files and play them anywhere. No app required.
Do the files expire?
No. Your private link and downloads are yours to keep — forever.
Refunds and privacy
Can I get a refund?
Yes — up to 72 hours after purchase, as long as you haven’t downloaded any of the files. Press play first to make sure you love it before you download. After 72 hours, or after a download, we can’t issue refunds. Email hello@audioventure.cc and we’ll sort it out.
Do you store my kids’ names?
Only to write your audiobook. We never sell or share personal data. Your kids’ names are used solely for their personalized story. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing hello@audioventure.cc.
Where does the cartoon illustration come from?
It’s a custom cartoon scene crafted from your trip details — the kids, the cities, the companion. Yours to download, share, or print. It belongs to you.
